Food and Wine Pairings
This superb white wine pairs beautifully with delicate fish such as turbot or trout, as well as with poultry or white meats served with a creamy sauce.

The Mineral Brilliance of a Great Burgundy Chardonnay from Domaine Michel Bouzereau et Fils
The Estate
Settled in Meursault, in Burgundy, for seven generations, the family has cultivated the vine with passion. The distinctive identity of Domaine Michel Bouzereau truly emerged in the 1970s with the first estate bottlings. Today, Jean-Baptiste Bouzereau has headed this roughly 12-hectare vineyard since 1999, the year he added the name "et Fils" to the estate. Domaine Michel Bouzereau et Fils stands out for its respectful approach to the soil and produces wines of remarkable precision, celebrated for their elegance and ageing potential.
The Vineyard
Grown on a small 0.5-hectare plot ideally exposed to the east, this cuvée comes from the highly ventilated climat of Les Tessons, located at the heart of the Meursault hillside. The old vines, planted between 1958 and 1989, thrive on shallow, stony red clay-limestone soils, occasionally revealing the bedrock beneath. The vineyard is farmed according to organic principles, favouring soil tillage and completely excluding the use of chemical herbicides.
Winemaking and Ageing
Following an entirely hand-picked harvest, the grapes undergo gentle pressing. The 2024 Meursault Village "Les Tessons" is then vinified and aged in oak barrels for 16 to 18 months. The measured use of 25% new oak helps shape the wine and develop its complexity while preserving the purity of its fruit.
