La Chablisienne : Chablis 1er cru "Fourchaume" 2015

Very ripe, appley nose with little evident minerality currently. The supple attack leads into a rounded and forward palate that lacks some energy and tension. It has weight and overt fruit, but not much vigour or persistence.

A gourmet palate with a backdrop of yellow fruit (nectarine), but the mid-palate dips slightly.

Full and juicy, with fine structure and breadth, it shows its early-drinking and relatively gentle character. Balanced, it is one of the best Premiers Crus.
