La Chablisienne : Chablis Grand cru "Les Clos" 2019

The 2019 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is rather simple and primary on the nose, fresh but lacking the terroir expression of the better Les Clos I tasted. The palate is well defined on entry and quite spicy, but just missing a little cohesion. The finish comes across a bit too sharp and bitter. I suspect this will improve with bottle age, but I also suspect there are better examples of this vineyard in this vintage.
