A Round Red Wine from Charmes-Chambertin
The Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is a single varietal wine from Pinot Noir produced by Maison Louis Latour in the Charmes-Chambertin appellation, the heart of the Côte-de-Nuits.
At tasting, the 2009 Maison Louis Latour Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru has a bright ruby colour. The nose reveals mocha, black fruits like black cherry and blackberry, and nutmeg aromas. On the palate, the soft tannins stand out to give the wine a round, supple mouthfeel.
