Nose
The nose stands out for its complexity, combining fresh strawberry aromas with floral notes and blond tobacco.

Full-bodied and generous, the palate reveals flavors of morello cherry and licorice. Supported by supple tannins, this powerful wine charms with its aromatic depth and long finish.

A full-bodied and beautifully supple Burgundy Grand Cru

The Estate

Founded in 1797, the Louis Latour House is now represented by the 11th generation, headed by Louis-Fabrice Latour. As a négociant-éleveur, Louis Latour owns the largest estate of Grands Crus in Burgundy.

The Vineyard

In 1891, the Latour family acquired the château located on the Cortons road, previously owned by the Grancey family. Produced only in exceptional years, this Château Corton Grancey Grand cru by Louis Latour is made from grapes sourced from five climats (Bressandes, Perrières, Grèves, Clos du Roi, and Chaumes). Averaging 40 years old, these vineyards are planted on marl and limestone soils characteristic of the Corton appellation.

Vinification and Aging

Once the grapes are hand-harvested, fermentation takes place traditionally in open vats with 100% malolactic fermentation. Aging lasts 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels (35% new), crafted by the Louis Latour cooperage.

Blend

Pinot Noir (100%).
