The estate
The largest wine estate in Burgundy, Domaine Louis Latour boasts over 200 years of winemaking history. Spread across the finest Premier and Grand Cru plots from the Côte de Beaune to the Côte de Nuits, the 50-hectare vineyard of Domaine Louis Latour produces a range of wines from 130 appellations, each authentically and elegantly expressing the unique character of its original terroir.
This illustrious Burgundy estate has been actively committed to sustainable and environmentally conscious viticulture since 1996.
The vineyard
This Grand Cru "Perrières" 2020 cuvée is a Corton wine from the "Perrières" climat, located on the Corton Grand Cru hill at an altitude of 273 meters. Facing southeast, these old vines are grown on brown and red clay soils.
Winemaking and aging
Traditional fermentation in open vats, 100% malolactic fermentation. Aged for 10 to 12 months in oak barrels (50% new) from the Louis Latour cooperage.
