Aromas of orange zest, peach, oyster shells, white flowers and freshly baked bread preface the 2021 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos, a full-bodied, layered and textural wine of impressive breadth and depth in this vintage, exhibiting considerable concentration and concluding with a long, electric finish. This will delight Chablis purists.

There's plenty of volume in this Chablis, whose rich, round frame boasts aromas and flavors of peach, apple, lemon and flinty mineral. It's all about the combination of power, balance and intensity, with excellent length. Though enjoyable now, this is still very youthful. Drink now through 2033. 170 cases imported.

A fruity, gourmand palate, surprising at this stage, but the tension and minerality are not yet in place; it will shut down to integrate its lovely power. Patience.
