The Estate

Located in Mendoza, the Zuccardi family has become over generations one of Argentina's most renowned estates, an expansion driven by a key figure in the family: José Alberto Zuccardi. A true visionary, he challenged conventions to fulfill his dream: revealing to the world the beauty of his country's wines. A successful endeavor, now overseeing more than 200 hectares, this true legend of Argentine wines has propelled the family estate among the most prestigious in the Southern Hemisphere. These prodigious creations are not only recognized by the greatest malbec enthusiasts but also celebrated by the most eminent critics.

The Vineyard

This wine is produced at the heart of the sumptuous Valle de Uco: majestic mountains, verdant valleys, and sublime rivers that wind among the vines, and it is in this idyllic setting at the foot of the Andes mountain range that the estate thrives. This cuvée comes from soil formed by the accumulation of sediments from the Tunuyán River, a mosaic of terroirs predominantly composed of limestone. The finest parcels have been selected, notably those benefiting from a sandy and silty layer between 20 and 60 centimeters thick.

Winemaking and Aging

The grapes are carefully hand-harvested, with each cluster selected for quality. The transfer of the must to the tanks is done by gravity, a gentle method that preserves the integrity of the berries and limits oxidation. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks, under the influence of indigenous yeasts to favor the authentic expression of the terroir. Finally, the wine's aging also occurs in concrete tanks, resulting in remarkable complexity and finesse.
