The nose is marked by earthy tones and a touch of oak, leading to a palate that is tight and grippy, with bold tannins and a muscular structure. While the fruit presence is subdued, the wine exhibits a classic, old-school Bordeaux character, with astringent notes and a slightly unbalanced profile at this stage. The finish is earthy and peppery.
