An exceptional organic rosé, expression of a Cru Classé from Provence

The estate

Château Saint-Maur has held Cru Classé status since 1955. Acquired in 2011 by entrepreneur Roger Zannier, the estate covers 100 hectares divided into three distinct plots: Saint-Maur, "Clos Saint-Vincent" in Saint-Tropez, and Clos de Capelune in Collobrières. Under the general management of Marc Monrose, Roger Zannier’s son-in-law, and with the technical expertise of Patrick Galliano and Amélie Rimbaud, the estate has established itself as an international reference for outstanding Provençal rosés. Committed to organic conversion since 2021, the estate aims for full certification of all its vineyards by 2028.

The vineyard

The "Clos Saint-Vincent" plot is located in the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez within the Côtes de Provence appellation. It overlooks a chapel bearing the same name and benefits from exposure that captures the golden light of dawn, tempered by sea breezes. The sandy soils with natural drainage facilitate the phenolic ripening of the grapes. The vineyard enjoys an exceptional microclimate created by the proximity of the Mediterranean and the Massif des Maures, bringing freshness and balance to the wines. Vineyard management follows the principles of organic farming, with certification obtained in 2024.

2025 marks the first certified organic rosé cuvée from this new vintage, confirming the quality of the viticultural work carried out on this plot.

Winemaking and ageing

This wine is crafted using rigorous protocols that prioritize the preservation of freshness and the expression of the terroir. Vinification takes place in the modern winery built in 2013, equipped with gravity-flow systems and precise temperature control. The techniques employed allow the wine to fully express its parcel-specific potential with minimal intervention.

Grape varieties

Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Tibouren are blended in subtle balance, each variety contributing its distinctive characteristics to the final expression of this rosé from Provence.
