The estate

Founded in 1900 in the heart of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, the Domaine La Rouillère takes its name from the river that runs through its land. Acquired in 1998 by Magali and Bertrand Letartre, the estate has undergone a true revival thanks to the modernization of its vineyard and facilities. Today, the property extends over a vast area between the communes of Gassin and Ramatuelle. Committed to an environmentally respectful approach, the estate produces outstanding rosé wines that reflect the full typicity of their terroir of origin.

The vineyard

The Cuvée "Domaine de La Rouillère" 2025 comes from plots located on the sun-drenched slopes of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, within the Côtes de Provence appellation. The vines benefit from excellent exposure and ideal Mediterranean sunshine. Deep root systems allow the vines to draw the necessary resources, while the nearby maritime influence brings welcome freshness and minerality to the grapes.

Winemaking and aging

The production of this Provence wine aims to preserve the freshness and aromatic brightness of the berries. Harvesting is carried out at night to keep the grapes at a low temperature. As soon as they arrive at the winery, the bunches are rapidly cooled. Gentle pneumatic pressing extracts the highest-quality juices. Fermentation then takes place at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging on fine lees until bottling.
