Nose shaped by the élevage, dark fruit, flint, smoky notes; creamy palate, ample, ripe fruit, fine-grained tannins, clean, balanced, solid length. Slim yet harmonious.

Deep ruby-purple colour in appearance. On the nose, dense and smoky, with nuances of high-quality French oak (cinnamon, vanilla, cloves). Powerful and concentrated on the palate, a lot of structure and almost some sweetness at the core, tannins are bold and polished, with great potential.

62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 13% Cabernet Franc. Cask sample. Aromatically appealing. Dark- and red-fruit notes. Tannins finely honed. Light mid-palate but harmonious and balanced. (JL)

Tobacco, cedar, vanilla, strawberry, and red currants open the perfume. The wine is bright, fresh, juicy, and elegant, with a focus on its core of red plums, strawberry, and black raspberries, with a juicy, crispness in the finish. The wine is made from 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 13% Merlot, 13% ABV. Drink from 2028-2040. 90-92 Pts

Intense and dark, complex and inviting, the bouquet moves between smoky aromas, stewed red fruits, notes of spice and white pepper. Considerably brighter, the palate opens with crisp fruit (cherry, redcurrant), carried by a tangy freshness. The texture is juicy and aromatic, offering excellent chew and a mouthwatering finish.

The nose is spicy, straightforward and racy. It shows lovely finesse, a beautiful grain depth and good definition. It reveals toasted notes, pulpy black cherry and, more subtly, bright red berries, with touches of cornflower, bergamot and nutmeg, as well as fine, almost imperceptible hints of mandarin in the background. The palate is fruity, offering roundness, a sexy, enveloping feel, a zesty backbone and minerality. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of cornflower and small blue fruits, and, more lightly, fresh/bright cherry, with touches of infusion and lilac, as well as a subtle, almost sappy hint in the background. Good length and definition. The tannins are well handled. A gourmet and delicate wine. A hint of chocolate on the finish.

Attractive floral character, violet, iris, the lean side of Cabernet Sauvignon, good nuance, leaning into the vintage, slim and savoury but still with impact. A little overly tight in its chalky tannins, but with real charm. Last vintage of Bruno Le Moine before retirement, replaced by Charlotte Mignon. Harvest 19 September to 5 October. Delicate on entry, very flavoursome through the mid-palate, the wine melts on the palate. It develops with a caressing feel, on a precise, well-coated tannic frame. Moderate length.
