Description

Characteristics and tasting advice for G de Galoupet 2025 from Galoupet

Tasting

Appearance

The wine reveals a pale pink hue with delicate peach highlights.

Nose

Expressive and fruity, the nose opens with aromas of pomelo and exotic fruits, accompanied by notes of apricot and melon. The bouquet then evolves toward elegant fragrances of red berries.

Palate

The attack on the palate is fresh, driven by notes of yellow fruits and citrus. The mid-palate, generous and indulgent, unfolds a silky texture enhanced by red fruit aromas. The long, fruity finish offers a fine acidity lifted by a touch of salinity.

Food and wine pairings

G de Galoupet 2025 pairs ideally with a heritage tomato carpaccio with burrata or roasted langoustines with citrus butter. It also pairs beautifully with stuffed vegetables, a Provençal vegetable tian, shrimp pasta, or white fish such as sea bass, gilt-head bream, sole, or European bass. This rosé also pairs perfectly with sushi or lemongrass chicken skewers.

Serving and cellaring

G de Galoupet 2025 is best enjoyed at a temperature of 10°C. This wine can be enjoyed until at least 2027.

An elegant and refreshing Provence rosé by Galoupet

The estate

Renowned for its rosés since the 19th century, Château Galoupet saw its reputation affirmed in 1955, when it was elevated to the rank of Cru Classé of the Côtes de Provence. Despite successive owners over time, the integrity of this historic estate in Provence has remained intact for more than three centuries.

Since 2019, under the direction of Moët Hennessy, Château Galoupet has pursued a rigorous environmental approach.

The vineyard

The Galoupet vineyard enjoys a privileged location within the Côtes de Provence appellation, facing the Mediterranean and the Golden Islands. The vines benefit from an exceptional terroir and a Mediterranean climate ideal for producing outstanding rosés. Managed under organic farming practices, the estate cultivates its plots with respect for the environment and biodiversity.

The vintage

According to Mathieu, the estate’s oenologist: “The G cuvée 2025 vintage meets all our expectations as winemakers. It is generous, subtle, and full of freshness, a perfect reflection of what our terroir offered us this year.

Winemaking and ageing

G de Galoupet 2025 is crafted using methods that respect both the fruit and the terroir. A co-pressing of syrah and rolle allows for a harmonious balance between white fruit and red fruit aromas. This organic cuvée is bottled in an eco-designed bottle made from 85% recycled glass, with a wax capsule replacing traditional aluminum.

Grape varieties

Grenache, cinsault, rolle, syrah, tibouren.
