A very composed and convincing Brut Premier based on the 2016 harvest. The aromas run from lemon and peach to fresh hazelnut, brioche and gently flinty notes. Golden colour with a fine mousse, the nose is fresh yet shows some maturity, with hints of ripe citrus, butterscotch, vanilla and stone fruits. Well-balanced palate with a certain maturity, well-integrated mousse and bright freshness, balanced, elegant classic style, long finish.

Coming mostly from estate fruit, the NV Champagne Premier Brut is a terrific value offering lots of golden apple and white flower notes, medium-bodied richness, and a textured, balanced, layered mouthfeel. It’s beautifully done and one classy Champagne to enjoy over the coming 7-8 years.
