The estate

Founded in 1750, Chanson is one of the most renowned houses in Burgundy. The estate is located in a bastion built at the beginning of the 16th century as a watchtower with walls 8 metres thick, nicknamed "La Tour des Filles" and today dedicated to the ageing of the house's wines. Well known to lovers of great Burgundy wines, the Chanson Père & Fils estate offers confidential cuvées that brilliantly reveal the expression of the greatest wine-growing villages of the Côte de Beaune.

The Chanson estate owns 45 hectares of vines located exclusively on Premiers Crus and Grands Crus in the most prestigious villages of the Côte de Beaune. With 25 hectares in Beaune, the Domaine Chanson is regarded as the specialist of the finest Premiers Crus of Beaune.

The vineyard

The Bressandes 1er Cru Domaine 2017 from Chanson is a Beaune wine produced from a two-hectare vineyard located at the opening of a combe with a northern exposure. This Premier Cru takes its name from Jean Bressand, Canon of Beaune and owner of this vine in the 13th century. This climat stands out for its light clay-limestone soils resting on the bedrock.

Blend

This Beaune 1er Cru "Bressandes" Domaine 2017 from Chanson is 100% Pinot Noir from clonal selection, with vines planted in 1992.
