Round and fleshy for the vintage, offering cherry, raspberry, menthol and iron flavors. Framed in toasty oak, with fine balance in its youthful way and an exuberant finish evoking spices. Best from 2028 through 2045. 40 cases imported.

Cask sample. Big and beefy, with some spearmint notes and enough fruit to distract from the hefty tannins. (JR)

Lots of fruit and more tenderness, but slightly less complexity than Bressandes. A lovely character that will appeal in restaurants.
