The estate
Owned by the Pradel de Lavaux and Boüard de Laforest families, Château Bellevue is a Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Émilion. Since 2007 the team of Château Angélus has been overseeing this Right Bank vineyard in Bordeaux with passion and rigor.
The vineyard
Château Bellevue oversees a single-block 6.82-hectare vineyard on clay-limestone soils typical of Saint-Émilion.
Winemaking and aging
Fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel, concrete, and wooden vats. Maceration lasts 2 to 3 weeks. Barrel aging is carried out after racking. Aging lasts 16 to 20 months.

100% Merlot.

Bright and deep, the color is dark, almost black.
