2014 Pessac-Leognan, Cru Classé from Bordeaux

In 2014, the harvest of the red grapes ended on October 21st under sunshine in Malartic-Lagravière. The Merlots are dense, round, opulent and offer volume. Very homogeneous, they create a true Malartic style. The Cabernets are straight, pure and long, with vibrant fruit and a present sucrosity. The tannins are voluminous and supple. This wine has every element to be complete and serious. This 2014 Cru Classé Malartic-Lagravière gives off strong notes of blackberry, smashed strawberry enhanced by light spicy and mainly peppery notes. On the palate, this Pessac-Leognan is very pleasant on tannins and is full-bodied. The finish, slightly toasted, is vibrant. This is a sappy wine.
