Appearance
Beautifully limpid, the glass reveals a pale yellow hue with subtle golden highlights.

Nose
The aromatic bouquet is enticing in its intensity, blending notes of fresh citrus, white flowers and a delicate touch of white-fleshed fruits such as peach.

From the first sip, the palate offers superb freshness underpinned by an elegant minerality. The balance is perfect between fruity roundness and a thirst-quenching tension that draws out the finish with wonderful indulgence.

This great white wine will pair wonderfully with grilled fish, seafood, or poultry in cream sauce. It will also enhance a platter of aged goat cheeses.

Serving and cellaring

To fully appreciate its complexity, it is recommended to serve this wine between 10 and 12 degrees. Accessible from its youth for its fruity brilliance, it also has a fine cellaring potential of several years.

The estate

Acquired in 2017 by the renowned founding family of the E. Guigal estate, Château de Nalys is a true historic institution. This estate benefits from the exceptional expertise of this great house established in the Rhône Valley, which takes pride in revealing the excellence of each terroir with passion and rigour.

The vineyard

The vines dedicated to the Château de Nalys "Saintes Pierres de Nalys" cuvée flourish on soils of great diversity. These notably include the famous rolled pebbles, as well as sandier and more limestone-rich terroirs that give the white grapes remarkable freshness and minerality. The Mediterranean climate, swept by the mistral, ensures ideal sanitary conditions for these vineyards located at the heart of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.

Winemaking and aging

The harvest is carried out with the utmost care to preserve the integrity of the bunches. Vinification is conducted with precision, favouring controlled temperatures to bring out the purity of the aromas. Aging takes place partly in stainless steel tanks and in oak barrels, thus adding complexity without masking the brilliance of the fruit.

This white wine is made from a typical regional blend, showcasing Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Roussanne and Picpoul.
