An exceptional Mexican añejo tequila with complex aromas
Casa Dragones: tequilera excellence since 2009
Casa Dragones, founded in 2009 by Bertha González Nieves, the first certified Maestra Tequilera, and Robert W. Pittman, co-creator of MTV, pays homage to the Dragones of San Miguel de Allende, an elite cavalry of Mexican independence. Based in San Miguel de Allende, this brand is still owned by its founders. Casa Dragones stands out for its artisanal small-batch production, its 100% blue agaves aged 7–10 years, and its bottles engraved using the traditional pepita technique, positioning the brand in the ultra-premium segment.
An exceptional añejo with innovative aging methods
This Tequila Añejo from Casa Dragones showcases a unique approach to maturation, crafted entirely from agave and aged in two types of new barrels: French oak and American oak. Each barrel is carefully selected for its specific characteristics and the flavors it imparts to the spirit. After this separate maturation, the tequilas from the two barrel styles are artfully blended, creating a flavor profile of remarkable complexity. This innovative aging method, combined with artisanal small-batch production, positions this añejo among the benchmarks of the ultra-premium segment.
