Founded by Thomas Hine, a young Englishman who settled in Jarnac, Hine is a Fine Champagne Cognac house (France) and remains a reference for elegance. It sources its eaux-de-vie exclusively from Grande and Petite Champagne. The house stands out for its double distillation on lees, its aging in lightly toasted fine-grain barrels, and its “Early Landed” method: barrels shipped to the United Kingdom to age and develop great finesse. Holder of the British Royal Warrant since 1962, Hine crafts lively, fruity, modern cognacs, embodied by its emblematic stag turned toward England. Today, the house belongs to EDV SAS.
