Tasting

Chestnut color with a copper heart and a slightly golden rim.
Nose
On the nose, notes of rum and raisins, clove, nutmeg and a slight hint of crushed black pepper harmoniously mingle with aromas of dried apricots, dates, quince, vanilla and rum-soaked grapes.
Palate
Plums, quince and apricot dance on the palate while lemon and orange zest bring a fresh acidity that balances the richness of this spirit. Grilled pineapple, passion fruit and lychee perfectly harmonize with toasted coconut, almonds and butter caramel. The texture envelops the palate with a bright, fresh and balanced finish.

The Expression and Smoothness of a Fifty-Year-Old Aged Port
Taylor's, a Historic Douro House
Founded in 1692, Taylor's is a family-owned house dedicated to producing quality ports for over three centuries. The estate comprises three vineyards in the Douro: Quinta de Vargellas, Quinta de Terra Feita and Quinta do Junco. These vineyards form the cornerstone of the house style and attest to the excellence of this Duriense region. Taylor's upholds a traditional savoir-faire while maintaining the highest quality standards that have earned it worldwide renown.
A Rare Blend of Ports Aged Fifty Years
This 50 Year Old Tawny represents the culmination of Taylor's artistry. Blend of ports rare aged for half a century in oak casks selected by the house’s expert coopers. These vineyards are located on the eastern slopes of the Douro valley.
