Torres : Celeste Reserva 2019

This blackberry-jam-colored wine has a nose of cassis, charcuterie and lavender. Mission fig, black-cherry, mocha, violet, thyme and licorice flavors are wrapped in a cloak of powerful tannins that is well matched by a vein of lively acidity.

The 2019 Tinto Fino Reserva Celeste comes from old vines grown on limestone slopes in Valladolid. Aromas of mint, cassis and a touch of blueberry are supported by subtle oak. Broad and plush, the palate offers a fine chalky texture and mid-palate tension. This is a savory, long finishing red with well integrated richness.
