Description
An elegantly rare red wine from Margaux
Classified Third Growth in the Margaux appellation, Chateau Giscours is a red wine produced on a vineyard that covers 94 hectares. The vines grown on the vineyard are Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (32%), Cabernet Franc (5%) and Petit Verdot (3%). The terroir is composed of gravel from the Garonne and sand. The wine is aged for 15-18 months, depending on the vintage, in French oak barrels. 2010's vintage is a blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon and 29% Merlot.
