Château Tertre Roteboeuf 1987

Tannic and slightly murky, but there are berry and chocolate flavors in the middle and a pretty toasty oak aftertaste that makes it attractive. Needs time. Drink now through 1998.

90: Lightened garnet with a watery rim. Jammy; seems cooked. On the palate, peppery extract. 15/20 1993 – 1997

Bordeaux-red color. Medium intensity. Very evolved. Nose of medium intensity. Discreet. Dead leaves. Creamy. With swirling, a slightly animal note. Softened attack. Smooth structure, almost sweet, gently evolving toward a tasty finish, where nuanced notes of tinned fruit and wood return. Very pleasant to drink.
