Characteristics and tasting advice for the Roseline Prestige 2025 from Château Sainte Roseline
Tasting
Appearance
Very pale peach-colored hue.
Nose
The aromatic bouquet reveals notable intensity, combining notes of red fruits with a subtle hint of citrus.
Palate
The palate presents a harmonious structure: a lively and slightly herbaceous acidity brings a certain vibrancy to the delicate flavors of peach and lime. The whole displays a subtly creamy texture with an elegant attack followed by a delicate and persistent finish.
Wine pairings
This 2025 vintage pairs particularly well with seafood and lightly grilled fish. It also complements spring vegetables such as roasted asparagus, peas, and broad beans beautifully. This rosé also suits light white meats such as roasted chicken as well as fresh, young cheeses, particularly goat cheese.
Serving and cellaring
To fully express its qualities, it is recommended to serve it between 50 and 54°F.
An elegant and balanced Provence rosé
The estate
Château Sainte Roseline, Cru Classé since 1955, is located in Les Arcs-sur-Argens in the Côtes de Provence. Since 2011, Aurélie Bertin and her sister Delphine Meunier have been managing this historic estate founded in the 10th century. The vineyard extends over 110 hectares of clay-limestone soils benefiting from an abundant underground spring. Certified organic since 2022, the estate embodies a philosophy where the art of living, sustainable viticulture, and artistic patronage harmoniously intertwine.
The vineyard
Roseline Prestige comes from an exceptional terroir of Côtes de Provence characterized by clay-limestone soils. The vineyard benefits from the presence of a deep underground spring that brings distinctive natural minerality and freshness to the wine. The proximity to the Mediterranean moderates summer temperatures and helps preserve the natural acidity of the grapes, an essential element for the characteristic balance of wines from Provence.
Winemaking and aging
The grapes are rigorously selected by the estate’s team of oenologists. Vinification is carried out in an ultra-modern cellar equipped with temperature-controlled tanks, allowing precise control of fermentation temperatures. Careful work on the lees brings a subtle texture to the wine.
Grape varieties
Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah.
