Tasting
Color
The color reveals a delicate petal-rosé hue with salmon highlights, enhanced by a fine, creamy mousse accompanied by a steady stream of elegant bubbles.
Nose

Palate
Dense and concentrated, the palate displays a full, broad structure. The attack is simultaneously juicy, flavorful and crisp, reminiscent of biting into perfectly ripe fruit. The grainy, salty tannins extend the sense of freshness through to a saline, savory finish with delicate notes of spice and cocoa powder.

An Exceptional Rosé Champagne Born from the Artistic Collaboration Between Louis Roederer and Philippe Starck
The Estate
Founded in 1833, Louis Roederer Champagne remains an independent family house based in the Champagne region. Led by Frédéric Rouzaud since 2006, the estate cultivates a 250-hectare vineyard spread across 420 plots. The house is distinguished by its exceptional mastery of grape sourcing, with around 70% of its wines coming from its own vines, its signature Pinot Noir, and its pioneering role in sustainable practices.
The Vineyard
This champagne comes from the "La Rivière" vineyards located in the Cumières cru in Champagne. This exceptional 10-hectare terroir is cultivated using biodynamic principles, allowing for the purest expression of the grape varieties.
The Vintage
The year 2018 was characterized by exceptionally warm, dry and generous conditions. An unusually wet winter preceded a mild but stormy spring, followed by a very hot, dry and sunny summer that surpassed the records set in 2003. These conditions allowed for an abundant harvest on September 2, 2018, with grapes in near-perfect health giving rise to elegant, fruity wines.
Winemaking and Aging
For the Brut Nature Rosé Édition Limitée by Philippe Starck 2018, a small proportion of the estate's Pinot Noir undergoes a cold "infusion" for five days without alcoholic fermentation before being incorporated into the Brut Nature Blanc juices. This unique technique allows for co-fermentation with the final blending proportions. Twenty percent of the wines are aged in oak, without malolactic fermentation and with zero dosage.
Grape Varieties
The blend consists of 64% Pinot Noir, 20% Meunier, 16% Chardonnay and a touch of Pinot Blanc, revealing the complexity and balance sought by this exceptional cuvée.
