A Côtes de Provence rosé combining radiance, freshness and balance
The Estate
Located near the Bay of Saint-Tropez, the Gorges du Verdon and Aix-en-Provence, the Château Sainte Roseline is an iconic site of Provençal viticulture. This centuries-old estate, classified as a Cru Classé Côtes de Provence, has experienced a new momentum since 1994 under the leadership of Bernard Teillaud, and then his daughter Aurélie Bertin Teillaud from 2007. Both have worked to imbue each of the wines produced with a distinctive identity.
The Vineyard
On a 110-hectare clay-limestone terroir nourished by an underground spring, the vines of this Provence estate benefit from precisely regulated natural hydration.
The Wine
The Rosé Collection embodies the union of technical rigour and artistic expression, both in its production and its philosophy. This Côtes de Provence wine exemplifies Château Sainte Roseline's aesthetic pursuit.
Winemaking and Ageing
The grapes are meticulously sorted before destemming. Pressing is performed by gravity and protected from oxygen to preserve aromatic purity. The musts undergo cold stabilization at 0°C for 15 to 20 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. Alcoholic fermentation lasts 15 days at 16°C. The wine is aged on fine lees.
Blend
Tibouren (50%), Mourvèdre (25%) and Grenache (25%).
