The Estate
Founded in 1834 in Tain-l'Hermitage, Paul Jaboulet-Aîné farms a 125-hectare vineyard. Now owned by the Frey family, with Jean-Jacques Frey as its current proprietor, the estate is distinguished by its conversion to biodynamics under the impetus of oenologist Caroline Frey. The house enjoys worldwide renown thanks to its signature cuvées and its regenerative philosophy. This historic institution brilliantly combines respect for its prestigious terroirs with a contemporary vision of viticulture.

The Vineyard
The project dedicated to Petite Arvine, led by Caroline Frey, is located in Switzerland, in the canton of Valais. This exceptional "winegrower's garden" is rooted in dizzying terraced slopes made up of granite and loess. Cultivated according to the exacting principles of biodynamics, these plots require constant manual attention to preserve biodiversity and prevent erosion. This Alpine terroir offers unique conditions, lending the indigenous grape varieties a remarkable mineral tension.

Winemaking and Ageing
The winemaking methods applied to this Vin de France draw heavily on Burgundian traditions. Fermentation and ageing take place in 228-litre barrels. In a minimalist approach aimed at preserving the brightness, texture and aromatic complexity of the wine, it is bottled without any prior filtration.
