Hampden Estate: The excellence of Jamaican rum since 1753
Founded in 1753 in Trelawny, in the heart of the Queen of Spain Valley, Hampden has embodied the excellence of Jamaican rum for over two centuries. Owned by the Hussey family since 2009, this distillery continues unique, ancestral methods: two-week fermentation using dunder and muck, distillation exclusively in pot stills from three continents. Hampden produces exceptional high-ester rums, classified by their ester content (from 85 to 1,400 g/hl) and possessing characteristic, powerful flavor profiles. Since 2018, thanks to the impetus of Luca Gargano and La Maison & Velier, the distillery finally markets its own tropically aged rums, revealing its preserved know-how to the world.

Great House Distillery Edition 2025: The seventh opus of an iconic series
The Great House Distillery Edition 2025 is the seventh edition of this exclusive series launched in 2019. This annual blend is a tribute to the distillery's Great House, a historical building built in 1779 by the Stirling family. The ground floor of this estate served until the 20th century as a storage for barrels of Jamaican rum awaiting shipment. Today, it welcomes visitors and represents the soul of the estate.

A unique blend, recomposed every year
This 2025 edition is made from a blend of several marks from three different vintages. Each year, the composition evolves, offering a new interpretation of the aromatic complexity characteristic of Hampden. The production process respects traditional methods: fermentation with the distillery's wild ambient yeasts, distillation in double-retort pot stills, full aging in the tropical climate of Jamaica in ex-Bourbon barrels and bottling at high alcohol content without any additives. This authentic approach reveals the pure and irreplaceable expression of the unique style of Trelawny rums.
