Philipponnat : Grand Blanc 2007

A beautifully round champagne

The Philipponnat Grand Blanc is a Chardonnay single-varietal Champagne wine. Its long ageing (five to seven years) makes it quite complex.

At tasting, it shows a light gold colour that is quite bright and lively. The persistent bubbles are of great finesse. The nose reveals a fine and elegant champagne with complex white flower and citrus fragrances. On the palate, the Philipponnat Grand Blanc 2007 is mineral, ample and harmonious. It has tangerine and grapefruit flavours. The finish offers a beautiful roundness and a magnificent length.
