The estate

Located in the northern Médoc, on the Saint-Estèphe hill, the Château Cos d’Estournel rises majestically. Like a true Maharajah’s palace, the château and its pagodas surprise and captivate the eye. In 1791, Louis-Gaspard d’Estournel inherited hectares of vines and established the estate. An adventurer who traveled the world, his taste for the exotic and the Orient earned Château Cos d’Estournel its singular architecture in the Médoc. Owned by Michel Reybier since 2000, Château Cos d’Estournel continues to shine within the Saint-Estèphe appellation and stands among the world’s greatest wines, distinguished by its unique style and a relentless pursuit of beauty and excellence.

The vineyard

A benchmark among the great Left Bank wines of Bordeaux, Château Cos d’Estournel benefits from an exceptional geographic location. Its vineyard is situated on the edge of a plateau, in the immediate vicinity of the Gironde estuary. The vines thus enjoy a maritime climate while being sheltered from inclement weather. Planted on two hillsides and a central plateau, they benefit from ideal exposure and good ventilation.

The Exotic Travel Box Set is a refined invitation to (re)discover the style of Château Cos d'Estournel, an emblematic estate of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, through 4 great vintages since its acquisition by Michel Reybier in 2000.

Produced in extremely limited quantities (100 pieces), this box set brings together the 2000, 2010, 2015, and 2016 vintages, four expressions of an exceptional terroir.

This highly elegant box set also includes a private tour of the estate followed by lunch for 4 people at La Maison d'Estournel, a hotel located in the former residence of the founder Louis-Gaspard d'Estournel.
