Decanter

Elderflower, lovely florality and softly herbal-accented. Creamy and deep, with a serious tone and orange and apricot elements. Feels round and charming, not very acidic, more full and rounded.

Bright light golden colour. Youthful nose, still with a slight oak presence, yellow pear, citrus, lemongrass, fresh herbs, and some floral notes. Good grip on the palate, a bright acidity and mild extract, with crisp young fruit, some lees-derived creaminess and a long pure finish.

Opens with a hit of straw and spice, followed by apricot and poached pear, star anise; has character but is marked by the vintage. At Chantegive they picked early, before the intense heat returned in September. 34 hl/ha yield, from gravel, sand and limestone soils, 50% new oak for ageing, with regular lees stirring, low-temperature fermentation never rising above 20°C.

Le Figaro Vin

Very fresh on the nose, with citrus aromas. On the palate, notes of wet stone combine with a hint of white pepper.

Yves Beck

The bouquet of Cuvée Caroline reveals hints of ageing, soon overtaken by aromas of citrus, spices and verbena. Slightly saline on the attack, the wine shows good breadth and is supported by a structure that delivers energy and freshness right through to the finish. A flavorful, harmonious and ambitious wine. It can be enjoyed in its youth, but it will be very interesting to follow its evolution, as it has considerable potential!

This fine ripe, wood-aged wine is full of white fruits, rich apples and spice. Its toasty edge mingles with the wrought minerality and density. Drink from 2025.
