    Description

A rare and exceptional Pomerol wine

    The property

Owned by the Raynaud-Lebreton family with origins dating back to 1477, the Château La Fleur de Gay is located on the medieval road from Saint-Émilion to Guîtres. The property is located on what was the historic village of Pomerol, the hamlet of Pignon, north of the appellation.

    The vineyard

A reference among the Pomerol wines, Château La Fleur de Gay oversees a 2-hectare vineyard spread over three plots within the high terrace of the appellation.

    Vinification and aging

The manual harvest in crates is rigorously sorted in the vat room. Alcoholic fermentation and post-fermentation maceration in thermo-regulated cement vats. The wines are then aged in new barrels for 18 months.

    Blend

    Merlot (100%).
