Description
Henri Rebourseau presents a lively and elegant Gevrey-Chambertin Village wine
The property
Founded in 1782 and present in 9 Burgundy appellations, the Domaine Henri Rebourseau is one of the most significant properties in terms of the surface area of Grands Crus owned in Côte de Nuits. The estate houses an exceptional vineyard heritage planted on lands cultivated for over 1,400 years. Today, the de Surrel family oversees this exceptional heritage by practicing organic and biodynamic agriculture. Thus, there is no "Rebourseau taste", and the quality advocated is that of the climate forming the heart of the wine's identity.
The vineyard
The Domaine Henri Rebourseau extends over the Côte de Nuits. This Gevrey-Chambertin Village comes from three plots (Sylvie, Pressonnier, Champs Chenys).
Vinification and aging
The harvested grapes are cooled as soon as they arrive at the winery. Minimal intervention is favored during fermentations accompanied by light punch-downs. Throughout the winemaking process, a silky wine with round tannins, fruity, and of beautiful concentration is revealed, depending on the cuvées.
Blend
Pinot noir (100%).
