The estate
An essential reference in Chablis, Burgundy, Domaine Laroche is particularly distinguished by a unique historical heritage dating back to the 9th century. Having joined the Advini group in 2009, Domaine Laroche is renowned for the precision, elegance and aromatic richness of its wines, which authentically express the subtlety of the Chablis terroirs.
The vineyard
Once enclosed by walls—hence its name "Clos"—this Bourgogne vineyard was planted with vines by the monks of the Abbey of Saint Martin of Tours in the 9th century. Facing the village of Chablis and enjoying a southern exposure, it benefits from sunshine that promotes optimal ripening of the grapes. The well-drained soil contributes to the concentration of acidity and aromas in the grapes.
Winemaking and aging
Harvested by hand, the grapes are rigorously sorted upon arrival at the winery. This Chablis wine benefited from aging on fine lees in stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels.

This 2022 Domaine Laroche Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" is 100% Chardonnay.
