    Tasting

    Appearance

The nose opens with a delicate mineral framework before revealing aromas of white peach and citrus zest, lifted by subtle herbal notes reminiscent of tarragon.

    Palate

With beautiful breadth, the palate charms with its signature silky texture. It gradually unfolds flavors of juicy mandarin, ripe strawberry, and crisp nectarine. The finish, exceptionally long and elegant, lingers with delicate spicy notes.

To fully appreciate this 2024 vintage, it is recommended to serve it at a temperature between 10 and 12°C. With remarkable aging potential, this wine can be enjoyed until at least 2028.

The elegance and complexity of a great rosé by Domaines Ott*

    The estate

Founded in 1896 by Marcel Ott in Provence, in the south of France, the Domaines Ott* embody winemaking excellence through an extensive vineyard. A pioneer in crafting prestigious rosés, the estate stands out for its long-standing commitment to environmentally respectful practices. Since 2004, the estate has been owned by Maison Louis Roederer, while maintaining its operational independence. Today, Jean-François Ott, representing the fourth generation, passionately leads this institution, perpetuating a unique family expertise and a philosophy focused on quality and the authentic expression of terroirs.

    The vineyard

This Vin de France is the result of a mosaic of exceptional terroirs spread across three distinct estates. Château de Selle contributes the influence of its limestone and sandstone soils, Clos Mireille offers a unique maritime imprint thanks to its schist and quartz soils, while Château Romassan enriches the whole with its dry limestone and marl soils. The entire vineyard is managed according to sustainable practices and benefits from organic farming certification.

    The vintage

The year began with a mild and moderately wet spring, followed by a warm and dry summer, ideally balanced by cool nights. These favorable climatic conditions promoted a homogeneous and gradual ripening of the berries, allowing for staggered harvests from mid-August to the end of September while preserving a fine natural acidity.

    Winemaking and aging

The hand-harvested grapes are followed by gravity-fed transfer to preserve fruit quality. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled inert tanks. Aging is then partly carried out (up to 20%) in ceramic spheres, a method chosen to enhance the purity of the fruit while limiting oxidation.

    Grape varieties

This wine is a blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre.
