Tasting Tips for the Cuvée Vintage Blanc de Blancs 2023 from French Bloom

    Tasting

    Color
The deep golden color is carried by a fine and persistent effervescence.

    Nose
Marked by great elegance, the nose reveals notes of grapefruit and vanilla.

    Palate
The palate ideally combines balance and tension, unveiling aromas of stewed fruit and citrus, along with delicious toasty and brioche notes.

    Serving

We recommend enjoying this Cuvée well chilled at 4°C to 6°C in a tulip flute.

    Food Pairings

Bresse poultry with creamy mushrooms, charcoal-grilled eggplant, or a buckwheat risotto with candied lemon and Parmesan make refined pairings for this Cuvée.

The freshness and precision of an alcohol-free Blanc de Blancs

    The Estate

French Bloom was founded in 2019 out of the friendship between Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger and Constance Jablonski, two women determined to create a festive alcohol-free drink. They established the brand to offer an organic-certified alcohol-free sparkling wine. The name “French Bloom” reflects French heritage and innovation. The brand’s development was supported by experts from the wine industry, establishing French Bloom as a benchmark for alcohol-free sparkling wine.

    The Vineyard

This alcohol-free Cuvée Vintage Blanc de Blancs 2023 is made from old Chardonnay vines from the high-elevation sites of the Limoux valley. Farmed organically, these vineyards benefit from an exceptional terroir with optimal exposure and diverse soils, contributing to the aromatic diversity of the wines produced. Harvest takes place two weeks earlier than usual to preserve the grapes’ freshness and acidity.

    The Vintage

The year 2023 was marked by an especially dry winter and spring, resulting in a significant rainfall deficit. These conditions were offset by welcome rainy episodes in May and June. The harvest yielded expressive, refined musts of high quality.

    Vinification and Aging

Aged in oak barrels for 8 months.
