For the Roten family, at the helm of this emblematic 10-hectare estate, respecting nature’s rhythm is essential to crafting wines with a harmonious aromatic palette. This heritage is now elevated by Olivier Roten, who skillfully continues the work initiated by his grandfather.
The vineyard
Echoing the Alpine reliefs, the Valais vineyard stretches across steep terraces with striking slopes. The richness of these terroirs, combined with a singular climate, promotes optimal ripeness of the grapes. The Foehn, a warm Alpine wind, plays a decisive role in the development of the berries. Dôle Coteaux de Sierre is produced under the Valais appellation, on hillsides located between 600 and 800 meters above sea level.
