Bright with a light golden hue. Pure and intense with some flinty notes and fine layers of lemongrass, lime, ripe citrus, yellow stone fruit and mint, with lees-derived fresh butter and creamy nuances. A sleek texture, yet with dense fruit and lovely flavour intensity, fine extract and vivid acidity, giving great lift to the rather exotic fruit; a very long, lingering finish with grassy, flinty and fruity notes.

It shows all the richness of the vintage, balanced by just the right tension, with hints of yellow fruit. The palate is dense and energetic—an outright success—and it’s beginning to express itself beautifully.

Pouilly Fumé can be multifaceted and complex, and this wine is a perfect example. Gold in color with a decidedly herbal nose, this wine immediately dives into overripe green pear, dried summer field grass, white nectarine, orange marmalade and forest floor, while flirting with brioche. Inklings of chalkiness revel on the midpalate along with notes of thyme and dill. Drink now, but this elegant wine can continue to develop through 2029.
