Extremely generous, the nose reveals aromas of stone fruits such as apricot and peach, intertwined with notes of honey and fresh almond. Delicate hints of candied citrus complete this complex bouquet.
Palate
The palate charms with its rich and powerful texture, offering excellent concentration. The balance is perfect between the natural generosity of the grape variety and a preserved freshness, leading to a remarkably persistent finish.
Food and wine pairings

The richness and freshness of a white wine from Château des Tourettes
The estate
Acquired in 1997 by Maine and Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen, the Château des Tourettes is a wine estate located near the town of Apt, in the Luberon, in the south of France. This passionate winemaking couple undertook a colossal effort to restructure this once-degraded vineyard. Today, the estate spans around 15 hectares and stands out for its unique philosophical approach, favoring low-intervention methods. The current owners craft exceptional cuvées here, demonstrating that atypical terroirs can produce wines of remarkable quality, freed from regional conventions.
The vineyard
Rising to around 420 meters in altitude on the Plateau de l'Aigle, the vineyard benefits from a Mediterranean climate tempered by cool nights. This diurnal temperature variation, combined with limestone-rich soils, allows for slow grape ripening while preserving natural acidity. The vines are carefully tended and harvested by hand. In order to maintain complete freedom in grape variety selection, the estate has chosen to classify this cuvée as Vin de France.
The vintage
The year 2022 was marked by particularly hot weather conditions in the south of the country, leading to early harvests. This exceptional heat allowed the berries to reach optimal phenolic ripeness, while the altitude of the terroir played a key role in maintaining excellent freshness.
Winemaking and aging
After manual harvesting and rigorous sorting, the berries undergo extremely gentle pressing. Only the first juices are retained for the production of the Tinus Roussanne Côteau de l'Aigle 2022, in order to avoid any bitterness. Fermentation takes place exclusively in tulip-shaped concrete tanks. The wine is then aged on fine lees for several months in these same vessels, giving it its complex texture and naturally protecting it from oxidation.
Grape variety
Roussanne (100%).
