Vinum

Pale ruby; delicate nose of plums, dried herbs, raspberries; on the palate, silk-smooth, a slightly creamy entry, then it tightens up; the sweet, ripe fruit is kept in check by powdery tannins; crisp acidity, impressive length, red-fruited finish. On par with the excellent 2022. A lot of wine for the money.

Decanter

Dark nose with liquorice and black chocolate and blackcurrant aromas. Smells deep and ripe with some minerality too. Lovely density on the palate with strong minerality - some metallic elements. Graphite and liquorice, clean and clear. This is super precise in terms of tannins and clarity of fruit. A little compact still. It has juiciness matched with push and a soft chew - some density on the mid palate. Good structure, quite serious but well made. A yield of 34hl/ha. 3.50pH.

Truffle, flowers, and black cherries form the core of this wine. The palate is fresh and fruity, with loads of charm, leaving you with strawberries and cherries in the mid-palate and on the finish. The wine is a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. It is produced from some of the oldest vines in the appellation, with plantings dating back to 1870! Drink from 2027-2035. 90-92 pts

Le Figaro Vin

A fresh, feline and seductive nose, with notes of ripe black fruits (blackberry, bramble). On the palate, sweet red fruits unfold in a velvety texture before giving way to a spicy, subtly peppery finish.
