Vinum

Rather restrained, yet deep, with dates, figs, resinous notes; oily texture, top-notch acidity, the wine shows tension and density, finishes exceptionally long and feels perfectly balanced. Very high quality.

Antonio Galloni

The 2023 Lafaurie-Peyraguey offers a captivating mix of exoticism and brightness. Tangerine peel, white flowers, orange peel and passion fruit give this dry white tons of complexity and dynamic energy. There's so much to admire. All this needs is a year or two in bottle.

A sublime, sweet treat that is packed with roasted apricots, candied orange rings, nuts, saffron, and pineapples, all slathered in honey. Lush, opulent, rich, sweet, and most importantly, with more than enough acidity to provide freshness and energy from start to finish. The wine is produced from 100% Semillon. Drink from 2029-2060.

Intense and concentrated, delicious to be tasting now in bottle. Powerful, concentrated, opulent and gourmet, matched at every step by pineapple, mandarin peel, saffron and lime zest. As of this vintage majority owned by Lalique rather than in a personal capacity by Silvio Denz, with the sale completed in October 2023.

Le Figaro Vin

Score: 90–92. An intense golden hue with amber highlights. Corinth raisins, dried pineapple, apricot and mirabelle contribute to a bouquet that retains superb freshness. Silky on the palate, it is all about dried fruit (apricot, mango, banana), roasted pineapple and fresh almond. Length and persistence define the finish.

The bouquet’s subtlety and diversity immediately invite you to taste the wine. And yet it deserves lingering over: notes of fresh mango, mandarin zest and lemongrass, enhanced by a hint of rhubarb (freshness, of course) and then plum, only serve to highlight its exceptional aromatic palette. It’s up to each person to devote time to it, if they wish! Dense and creamy on the attack, the wine can boast remarkable harmony, thanks to a structuring tension that unites breadth and character. A flavorful, inviting, fresh and persistent wine that can be enjoyed for many decades. It will always be good!

Sunny yellow color. Intense, fruity nose. A hint of oyster shells. A touch of lemon. Delicate on the attack, particularly aromatic through the mid-palate, the wine melts across the palate, nuanced and captivating with its unique aromas of flowers, warm butter and spices. Everything is subtly combined. It’s very good.
