Vinum

Bright ruby red; delicately scented, with red and dark berries, floral notes and a mineral undertone; straight and featuring crisp fruit on the palate, well structured, with well-judged, very high-quality tannins; pleasantly long with fine spice on the finish.

Decanter

Clean and crisp, a nice sleekness to this expression. It’s sleek for sure, but relaxed and balanced, mixing blackcurrants and cherries with dark chocolate and liquorice. It’s fresh but not so austere. Balanced and well presented. I like this, soft chewy bits and sweet elements alongside the coolness. Great tannin management, this will be lovely. 3.66 pH.

64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot. 35 hl/ha. First vintage certified organic. Cask sample. Expressive nose. Dark-cherry notes with a touch of spice. Layered fruit on the palate with marked acidity as well. Firmly structured with present fruit. Just a little hard on the finish. (JL)

Espresso, black cherries, licorice, tobacco, and floral notes are already expressive on the nose. On the palate, the wine is forward, round, and bright, with loads of currants and a salty edge to the dark, fruity, energetic finish. Blend: 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, and 10% Petit Verdot. Drink from 2027-2045. 90-92 pts

Vertdevin

The nose is fruity, elegant, precise, textured, and beautifully guided. It offers a fine creamy freshness, lovely energy, and a nice grain. It reveals notes of boysenberry, fairly ripe Charlotte strawberry, and, more subtly, crushed redcurrant and vibrant cranberry, combined with touches of lilac, bergamot, infusion, as well as a hint of Sichuan pepper and delicate hints of toasted hazelnut. The palate is beautifully handled, fruity, fresh, and mineral. It offers a tangy framework, freshness, precision, a certain tension, suppleness, minerality, energy, and a nicely elongated feel. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of bright blackcurrant, fairly ripe red cherry and, more subtly, small elegant roasted red berries, combined with touches of lilac, a fine sappy hint, discreet notes of cornflower, star anise, as well as hints of chocolate, Bourbon vanilla, and a touch of toasted hazelnut. A beautifully textured wine, gourmand on the fruit, precise, finely creamy with an airy, juicy character. A lovely success! Beautiful persistence.
