La Tyre 2015 from Chateau Montus is named after a district in the commune of Castelnau-Riviere-Basse in the Madiran appellation. The wine is 100% Tannat and only the finest grapes are chosen. The steep slopes that the vines are planted on are a mixture of pebbles and red clay. The wine is aged for approximately 14-16 months in new barrels and reared on lees.
