Subtle reduction, white peach, herbal spice, citrus fruits, wet pebble; the palate shows a certain opulence without heaviness, crisp fruit carried by fine acidity, a long, saline finish, ending on grapefruit and a peppery spice.

Mango, orange rind, pineapple, and green apples form the core of the wine. Racy, with a focus on its fresh, citrus nature, and round textures from start to finish, this will be a pleasure to enjoy on release, and for at least a decade or more after that. A luxurious, vanilla-scented, well-balanced nose with notes of wax and gentle citrus. On the palate, the acidity, unfolding notes of lemon ice cream and pastry cream, balances with a saline texture, almost iodized on the finish.

The nose offers beautiful fruit concentration and maturity. It delivers aromas of ripe citrus (lemon, grapefruit, lime), juicy, tangy stone fruits (white peach, apricot), as well as green plum, green apple, an expressive floral bouquet (acacia, honeysuckle, linden), a toasted, lactic hint and vanilla. The palate is precise, linear and zesty. We find the pleasant bitterness of grapefruit and lime, the chiseled character of green apple, gooseberry and green plum, softened by toasted notes, fresh hazelnut and a delicate lactic touch. Good length, accuracy and tension. The acidity is mouthwatering and refreshing.
