Particularly expressive, it releases beautiful aromas of black fruits, subtly enhanced by fragrant notes and hints of spice.

The elegance of a Haut-Médoc wine by Château Sénéjac
The estate
Located in Le Pian-Médoc in the Bordeaux region, Château Sénéjac boasts a rich history, with the first vines planted in the 16th century and an official mention in 1589. After belonging to the de Guigné family for over a century, the estate was acquired in 1999 by the Cordier family. Today, the Bignon-Cordier family, led by Nancy Bignon-Cordier, is at the helm of the property. This estate combines respect for Médoc traditions with technical modernisation, producing wines renowned for their quality.
The vineyard
The terroir of the Haut-Médoc appellation extends here over an area of 34 hectares. The vines, with an average age of 40 years, are planted on deep gravel soils at a density of 6,600 vines per hectare. The estate is certified High Environmental Value level 3 (HVE 3), reflecting a strong commitment to viticulture that respects biodiversity.
Vinification and ageing
The harvest of this vintage took place under excellent conditions between 11 and 23 September 2025. The grapes, picked both manually and mechanically, undergo rigorous successive sorting. For Château Sénéjac 2025, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine then benefits from ageing for 12 months in barrels, 25% of which are new. Alcohol content: 13.2% vol.
Grape varieties
This wine is made from a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.
