Rich in extract, with well-integrated, slightly grainy tannins; needs some ageing.

Offers a dark, lush style, with a velvety structure that lets enticing notes of raspberry ganache, blackberry coulis and plum sauce glide along, all offset by a graphite accent. Although solid overall, a slightly firm woodsy hint on the finish holds this back. Drink now through 2021. 1,000 cases made.

Good full ruby. Aromatic nose combines blackcurrant, cedar and spicy violet. At once dense and juicy, offering flavors of minty blackcurrant, tobacco and coffee. Nicely delineated but finishes with substantial, mounting dusty tannins that turned dry with aeration.

Earth, chocolate and dark cherry, with supple textures and good concentration on ripe, sweet black plums on the finish. 89-90 pts

Very dense, inky ruby/purple color. Still youthful and closed nose displaying wet earth, plum, dark berries and discreet oak. The palate has good grip and fruit density, youthful tannins, good freshness, rich mid-palate fruit, still restrained but with good length and potential.

Extremely dark purple with lilac and violet highlights. Blueberries with a fascinating freshness, layered expression with medium drive. On the palate, a soft, well-judged sweetness and great aromatics; on the finish, it comes across as somewhat extracted, yet it pulls it off. Wonderfully accomplished.

Dark, intense, purple hue. Beautiful nose with ripe, fresh fruit. Juicy attack. The wine unfolds very fruity, full in the mid-palate and fleshy, with a straight profile. Dense after the mid-palate, it bounces on the finish and ends long, sapid and noble. It's superb.

This wine shows mint aromas and big black-fruit flavors. With high toast wood aging, it feels extracted, with bitter chocolate paralleling the blackberry fruits. It has considerable power and density and needs aging. Drink from 2017.
