Marks and reviews

James Suckling

Mint chocolate, walnuts, currants and mulberries on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with brightness and focus. Medium tannins. Nicely mineral on the finish. Try after 2024.

Yves Beck

The bouquet of Confidences de Prieuré-Lichine seems to whisper to me… which bodes well for confidences! Silky and sleek, this wine is elegant and already approachable. A Margaux to enjoy in complete serenity.

R.V.

The second wine from Château Prieuré-Lichine in southern Margaux's Cantenac, this is rich and solid with elegance. Black currant fruits and acidity bring a fresh edge to this attractive, balanced wine. Drink from 2026.
