A Chablis Premier Cru wine combining finesse, fruitiness and minerality
The estate
An unavoidable reference in Chablis, in Burgundy, Domaine Laroche stands out in particular for a unique historical heritage, with origins dating back to the 9th century. Owned by the Advini group since 2009, Domaine Laroche is known for the precision, elegance, and aromatic richness of its wines, which authentically express the subtlety of the Chablis Climats.
The vineyard
The Les Beauroys Climat thrives on a Kimmeridgian limestone slope, an emblematic terroir of Burgundy, which gives the wine all its characteristic minerality and typicity.
The vintage
The 2021 vintage in Chablis is characterized by a rather late start. The manual harvest began on September 21st. Despite existing disease pressure, it was successfully managed. The harvested juices showed beautiful balance, a promise confirmed during aging, which revealed finesse and beautiful minerality.
Winemaking and aging
The grapes for the Chablis 1er Cru "Les Beauroys" 2021 are harvested manually and then sorted at the entrance to the winery. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. The wine then benefits from a first aging period of 9 months on fine lees in the same containers. After blending, a further aging on fine lees of about 8 to 9 months is carried out, with the duration adjusted according to tasting.
